New Electric Service

Welcome to Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative!

To establish new electric service, follow these steps:

  1. Please call us at: (800) 555-2207. Para el servicio en español, por favor llame (800) 555-2207.
  2. Fill out, sign and return your Membership Application Agreement (PDF) within 10 days. Be sure to include all names for your account. Signed membership applications can be mailed or faxed to our Portola office or emailed to Electric Customer Service.
  3. Explore the helpful links on our New Member Information page to resources and programs available exclusively to our members.

New Home or Construction

Your new home—or newly constructed building in our service area—is very important to you, and we respect and understand your concerns. Please contact us if you are building in our service area, and we will make every effort to expedite your request.

You can contact us by calling our engineering department, emailing us at Electric Customer Service, or writing us at our Portola officePlease have your assessor’s parcel number (APN) available when you contact us.
