PSREC Winter Rate Assistance Program

Encouraging energy conservation in low-income households

Snowy power lines

PSREC is still taking applications for the Winter Rate Assistance Program.

Once approved, you can receive a discount on your kilowatt-hour rate for energy usage, during the winter billing periods of December through May (November through April usage).

The rate will increase to the members’ regular residential rate class for usage in excess of 2,500 kWh. The discounted rate will be applicable to the kWh charge, not the entire bill.

This program is available to PSREC income-qualified members for electric service at their permanent residence in Plumas, Sierra, Lassen and Washoe counties. Income qualifications and restrictions apply.

Members who qualified for the WRAP during the previous season will need to re-certify annually at the beginning of the program year.

Call today for an application and program details, 530-832-4261, or access the information at www.psrec.coop.
