Payment Options

Cash Payments

In-person

  • Drop off cash payments at our Portola office
  • Payment stubs must be included
  • It may take up to 2 business days for payments to be posted

MoneyGram locations (like Walmart)

  • Find a location at the MoneyGram website
  • Payments usually post to your account within 1 business day
  • To pay at a MoneyGram location, have these details handy:
    • Plumas-Sierra account number
    • The amount you need to pay
    • Plus any fees (fees vary by location and are listed on the MoneyGram website)
Check Payments
  • Plumas-Sierra is now accepting electronic checks.
  • Via the US Mail — Write your account number on your check and put it in the US Mail. Your bill envelope usually reaches our office in 2 to 3 business days.
  • In person — Drop off your check at our PSREC office in Portola. Payment stubs must be included with your check, and it may take up to 2 business days for payments to be posted.
Automatic Bill Payment Plan
