Washington Youth Tour Scholarships

PSREC selected one student to take an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. in June, 2020. The Washington Youth Tour is open to all high school sophomores, juniors and seniors whose primary residence in Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Washoe counties is supplied with either electric power through PSREC, or Internet service through Plumas-Sierra Telecommunications.

Deadline to apply was Friday, November 15, 2019.

Plumas-Sierra REC and Telecommunications Citizen-Scholar Scholarships

Attending a college or university next fall? Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (REC) and Plumas-Sierra Telecommunications will be offering two $1,000 scholarships in a program designed to enhance the education and resulting careers of deserving rural students.

All interested students are invited and encouraged to apply. To qualify, applicant must be at least a senior in high school with no upper age limit, and their primary residence in Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Washoe counties must be supplied with either electric power through Plumas-Sierra REC, or telecommunications services through its subsidiary.

Deadline to apply was Monday, April 27, 2020.
