June 15, Tour de Manure.  Sierraville Firehouse, 102 E. Main Street, Sierraville. Starts between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Cycle the meadows and historic ranching communities in the Sierra Valley, one of the Sierra Nevada’s largest high valleys. The tour offers a 62-mile loop, a 42-mile loop and a 30-mile out-and-back route, all supported with food, drink and SAG wagons. Post tour party with food and music. June 30, Summerfest at White Sulphur Springs Ranch. 2200 Highway 89, just south of the junction of County Road A15, in Plumas County, California. 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with gates open at 3 p.m.  Cost per person is $40. Tours of the partially restored house will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. A hearty ranch barbecue dinner is included and entertainers Juni Fisher and Dave Stamey will provide fine Western music and showmanship.  A no host bar will offer beer, wine and soft drinks.  There will also be both live and silent auctions to complete this evening of fun and entertainment.  Attendees should bring their own lawn chair. Tickets are available in Graeagle, at EcoCentric, Graeagle Mercantile, Red House Art and The Outpost. In Portola at Sprouting Roots, and in Quincy at the Plumas County Museum.
