August 8 - 10, Second Annual City Limits Bass Derby. 6 a.m. on August 8, to 12 p.m. on the 10th. From the Portola Picnic Area at the east end of the Riverwalk to the beaver dams at the western Portola City Limits. August 30, Mumbo Gumbo at Nakoma. The Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council will present an evening of Cajun food and great dance music at the Nakoma Resort and Spa, 348 Bear Run, Clio. The Cajun buffet will feature blackened catfish, po’boy  sandwiches, andouille sausage and assorted Cajun delicacies. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. and music at 7 pm.
